TOUCH Community Services is a not-for-profit charity organisation in Singapore. We were officially registered in 1992 and have been a member of the National Council of Social Service since 1994.
Who We Are
We are TOUCH.
We are here to create a progressive community where everyone is valued and empowered.
Over the years, we have reached out to individuals from all backgrounds, including children, youth, families, seniors, and persons with special and healthcare needs.
How We Started
The work of TOUCH started in 1986 as a service for latch-key children in the neighbourhoods of Clementi and Jurong.
Touched by the obvious need of low-income and single-parent families with difficulties making ends meet, much less raising their children in a positive environment, a group of seven volunteers in their 20s organised activities to help the children.
This small attempt has today become a multi-service organisation with an integrated network of services located at different parts of Singapore, including Bukit Merah, Clementi, Geylang Bahru, Hougang, Serangoon, Toa Payoh, Ubi and Yishun.
We Are Part of a Global Blueprint
The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are at the core of a shared global blueprint for peace and prosperity.
As stakeholders of the global community, TOUCH supports the SDGs of "Good Health and Well-being" through the
Community Enablement Project, "Quality Education" through
TOUCH Young Arrows, and "Reduced Inequality" through
TOUCH Centre for Independent Living and
TOUCH Family Support among others, in our work with vulnerable groups in our local community.
At TOUCH, we do our best to ensure that those under our care are not left behind.
