Raising Awareness
on diabetes
Community Awareness Programme
Diabetes is on the rise in Singapore. Statistics show that one in three Singaporeans has a lifetime risk of getting diabetes. Therefore, there is an increasing need to educate the public about how to better manage diabetes and how to prevent it.
Schools
TOUCH Diabetes Support works closely with schools to educate the younger generation about the importance of leading a healthier lifestyle. With the right knowledge and skillsets, the youth can be better informed about how to monitor and care for family members who are living with diabetes.
We hope to see more youths champion the issues pertaining to diabetes awareness.
Community
TOUCH Diabetes Support also actively promotes diabetes awareness through public talks and events, in collaboration with external partners.
